What Happens During Your Spanish Immersion Experience, Your CAD Experience
This isn’t the right fit for everyone—and that’s by design. We keep groups small (max 8-10 people) and focus on learners who are serious about immersion, respectful of cultural experiences, and ready to engage fully in Spanish.

CAD Cofounder Daniela Barrera
Spanish Teacher – Spanish Immersion Experience Guide
Daniela is the co-founder of CAD (Centro de Aprendizaje y Desarrollo) and an experienced Spanish teacher who has spent nearly a decade helping students from around the world build confidence through Spanish Classes in Tijuana and immersive cultural experiences.
Born and raised in Tijuana, Daniela has a deep connection to the city’s neighborhoods, traditions, food, and local culture. Together with Adrian, she co-created CAD’s Spanish Immersion Experiences and Walking Tours in Tijuana, believing that the fastest way to learn a language is by living it, not simply memorizing grammar rules.
Her teaching philosophy is simple: «Spanish is meant to be experienced, not just studied. When you understand the culture behind the language, everything starts to make sense.»
Whether she’s leading a Spanish Walking Tour in Tijuana, guiding cultural activities, or teaching personalized Spanish lessons, Daniela helps students practice Spanish with native speakers in real-life situations while discovering the authentic side of Tijuana.
Her goal is to create unforgettable experiences where visitors can learn Spanish in Tijuana, connect with local culture, and leave with not only stronger language skills, but also a genuine appreciation for the city and its people.

CAD Cofounder Adrian Guzman
Community Builder & Spanish Immersion Experience Guide
Adrian is the co-founder of CAD (Centro de Aprendizaje y Desarrollo), a Spanish learning community based in Tijuana, Mexico. Together with Daniela, he created CAD’s Spanish Immersion Experiences and Walking Tours in Tijuana after realizing that language learning becomes far more effective when people are relaxed, engaged, and connected to the local culture.
Instead of creating another traditional language program, Adrian helped design immersive experiences where visitors can explore Tijuana, practice Spanish with native speakers, and discover the city’s authentic culture through meaningful conversations and local experiences.
His mission is to help travelers, professionals, and Spanish learners move beyond the classroom by combining Spanish conversation practice, cultural immersion, and authentic Walking Tours in Tijuana.
Whether you’re visiting for a day or planning to improve your Spanish long-term, Adrian believes the best way to learn is by experiencing the city like a local.
Today, Adrian continues to develop experiences that showcase the real Tijuana—its people, cafés, local businesses, food, and culture—while creating an environment where learning Spanish feels natural, enjoyable, and memorable.
