The Online Spanish program for Beginners that prepares you for real situations in Mexico. Hybrid Mexican Spanish Program for International Students

Imagine walking into a pharmacy in Tijuana and explaining exactly what you need. Asking a landlord the right questions before you sign. Knowing what to say when a police officer approaches you. Ordering at a local spot without pointing at the menu. This is the Mexican Spanish that actually matters, and it is what CAD’s online beginner program is built around.

A1 to B1 — six months
Starts February 6th
Students from 20 countries since 2017
What this program is built around

In six months you go from zero Spanish to handling the real situations Mexico puts you in, with confidence, not guesswork.

Most online Spanish programs teach you how to conjugate verbs. CAD’s online program teaches you that AND the vocabulary you need on situations like: How to negotiate your rent, ask a pharmacist what medication you need, understand directions and actually follow them, talk to a mechanic, make a phone call that goes somewhere, and feel like a person, not a tourist, every time you are in Mexico. That is what A1 to B1 actually means when the curriculum is built around real life instead of a textbook chapter.

Practical situations from week one

What you will actually learn to handle

Some of the situations this program prepares you for

Every class, every vocabulary sheet, and every conversation audio is built around the real moments that come up in Mexico, not exercises invented for a classroom. By month six, none of these will freeze you.

Renting a property

Ask the right questions, understand the terms, and know exactly what you are signing.

Talking to police officers

Ask for help, report something, or simply interact without anxiety or confusion.

At the pharmacy or doctor

Explain your symptoms, ask what you need, and understand the instructions you receive.

With a mechanic or technician

Understand what is wrong, what it will cost, and whether you are being told the truth.

At markets and local shops

Negotiate, ask about products, and buy things the way locals do, not the way tourists point.

On a phone call in Spanish

The hardest format, no body language, no visual cues. You will handle it by month four.

Asking for and understanding directions

Get directions and actually follow them, including when they come back fast and without a map.

Ordering at a local restaurant

Not the tourist menu. The real one. With the right questions, the right words, and the right confidence.

How the six months work

One turning point. One honest check-in. Billed every two months.

You never commit to more than two months at a time. You experience the teaching before you invest in the next stage.

Months 1 to 2: You build your foundation around real situations

Every Saturday a new video class arrives. Every week the Discord brings vocabulary, worksheets, and activities. The real-conversation audios train your ear between sessions. The monthly live session with Daniela keeps you connected, motivated, and moving forward. By month two you have handled your first real Mexican Spanish situations, on the page, in your ear, and in your mouth.

End of month 2: Daniela checks in, you decide what comes next

After the first 2 months, we will reach out to you personally, to check on you and see how have you been feeling. You continue with the program, shift your focus, or move to private sessions. A real decision with someone who has been watching your progress for two months.

Months 3 to 4: Building your library, learning how to progress on you own and crucial point.

Now you have everything in order, you know what works for you, it’s just a matter of practice, this is a crucialpoint for several reasons, but the main one is: People give up at month 3, usually it’s how it works, we’ve been doing this for 9 years and that’s how it usually goes. Life happens, so we will make sure you are feeling motivated by now.

End of month 4th: We keep pressing on those monthly lives to make sure you are progressing.

Daniela will help you with all those questions that will arise after the 4th month, this is the equivalent of a steep hill you need to walk through for the next part to course, the goal is feeling like it’s too far ahead.

Months 5 to 6: You reach B1, Spanish becomes something you actually use.

You hold conversations that go somewhere. You understand the answer when you ask for directions. You stop translating in your head and start responding. Mexico stops being a place where you feel helpless and starts being a place where you belong a little more every time you go.

End of month 6th: The last Q&A design specifically to prepare you for what’s coming, you are an independent learner NOW!!! Also, you will get access to all our monthly in person practices for when you can come to Tijuana!

Yes, for free you’ll be able to keep practicing with all the community. We will present to you how you can improve from this point forward, but NOW you finally can follow real conversations (around B1 which is early intermediate!!!!). Once you get here, you will feel proud, you will make us proud and you’ll get the heart of all the community of locals and teachers that worked in this program 💜

Giveaway for committed learners!

Every student who completes their first registration payment is automatically in. Three prizes. The draw takes place at the opening session with everyone present, in person or announced simultaneously to online members. You do not need to do anything extra. Just show up.

🥇 First place — 4 private one-on-one sessions with a CAD teacher🎉

Four individual one-hour sessions, valued at $180. Live, online, real time, just you and an experienced CAD teacher going deep on exactly what you need most. Use them to accelerate a specific situation, work on pronunciation, or push through whatever the group program cannot address at your individual level.

🥈 Second place: 2 private sessions with Daniela, one on one

Two individual one-hour sessions with Daniela. Online, real time, just you and your teacher. Use them to work through something the group cannot address individually, accelerate a specific area, or get focused feedback on exactly where you are.

🥉 Third place: A private strategy session

One private hour with Daniela, online, one on one. She builds your personal Spanish learning roadmap: your specific goals, the tools she actually recommends after eight years of doing this, and a clear plan for exactly what to focus on across the six months ahead.

The giveaway is honored only if the group reaches the minimum of 4 Members. If the minimum is not met, every registered student receives a full refund or priority placement in the next cohort. We communicate this clearly before the first session.

Know someone who belongs here?

Refer someone. If they win, so do you.

If you know someone who has been putting off learning Spanish, a colleague, a friend, someone who keeps saying they will start one day, bring them in. Have them mention your name when they register. If they win any of the three prizes at the live draw, you win the exact same prize alongside them. No codes, no forms. Just tell them to say your name.

Share this program with someone you genuinely think would benefit from it.
They register and mention your name when they sign up.
If they win any prize at the live draw, you win the exact same one.

First place? You both get 4 private classes. Second place? You both get two private sessions with Daniela. Third place? You both get a personal strategy session. The better the prize they win, the better yours is too.

One referral per enrolled student. Both people must be registered before the first session. The referral prize is subject to the same minimum enrollment condition as the giveaway.
